HATE

Hate is the work of the devil. When he sees people attacking each other he rubs his hoofs together with glee. There seems to be more of it these days, though it's always gone on. I'm seeing alot of terrorism, war, hate crime, fighting and name calling on social media between people who used to be friends, or they've cut each other off on Facebook etc. I wonder to myself, what has got into these previously mild mannered people?

Now world leaders are bickering on social media, any media, if they can find it. Cooperation , friendship and love are what are needed now.
World leaders need to set an example. Since that's not happening, maybe the people need to set an example to them.

"Quit da judgin' and get ta talkin' " . by Kid President

The idea of "treat people the way you like to be treated" is in all mainstream religions, it's just the extremists who say otherwise.

What I would like to see now, instead of protest marches for now, is around the world, religious leaders get together in mixed lots and hold marches for love. Love-ins if you will , where people of all ethnicities, ages , sexualities, politics and religions could just march together for peace and love. Maybe everyone could bring a plate of food, cups and drink, to share around, and talk to each other. Bus in people from the rural areas, and the islands, and billet them with city people. Mix everyone up.

Only love beats hate. Divided we fall, and we are all on this planet together.

Here's the link to the Manchester Hug Experiment. Just proves how bigger and better love always is. I wasn't crying in pain but joy....

Love the song. Covers so many issues.

We should be able to just Get Along but I watched a political debate programme the other night and the men in the audience just kept repeatedly going back to badger Corbin about his anti nuclear weapons and war stance.
It took a young female to simply say 'I don't understand why everyone's so against someone who doesn't want to blow the world up' to shut them up.
Unfortunately a lot of people think weapons = peace n protection and just forget about the massive arms industry and all the death n destruction it brings. I can understand to a degree but what an abysmal waste of funding that could be put to so much better use.
We're a sad idiotic species sometimes.

He has a whole series, starting from when he was much younger.

I think with some world leaders behaving like children, why not put up children telling them how to behave. They seem more mature.

I enjoyed both the song and the skit....our youth will be the ones to lead the way if they can stay idealistic and don't get caught up in the fray of the warmakers.

The problem is we would be able to do much more if the adults would see that we kids can help. I think that if it's a decision that effects everyone then everyone should have a chance to decide what's best. We kids we don't get caught up in power struggle that most politicians have we just want to help our world.

It has been a big challenge in US to register and get young people to the polls on voting day. All of a sudden young people turn 18 and unless they have been paying attention to politics they are very blasé about how they will be affected by the politics of their country. I will admit I really didn't pay very much attention until my 30s and I became aware of how taxes and jobs affected my family. Today we have an environmental crisis looming on the horizon and it is even more imperative the young people get involved. I agree, Acerules, the adults should be more encompassing to the young people.

I read that less than half of young adults turned up for the 2015 UK election but yesterday three quarters of them voted, so progress is possible.

A lot of them at that age will have younger brothers or sisters who are hoping to go to university and voting makes the difference between them (or their parents) having to take out massive loans for tuition fees or the government paying for them.

The (conservative) government here is trying to put fees up and otherwise make things harder. At the same time, penalty rates on wages for weekend workers in retail and hospitality are being slashed which makes it hard for students.
