Thi is not the first petition I've posted asking a municipal council not to tear down a currently utilised property to put a community facility where there are other options available. I feel strongly that this elderly group need their long standing physical and social outlet and should not be evicted from it. There are 600 members. At our bowls club here in town, young people are trained in the sport through the local primary schools. Perhaps that is an answer for the future too. However, there is an ageing population and facilities for it are needed into the future. Please sign the petition.
